His shows are weird, unadapted and represent an attitude towards life.

Pierre Caesar has an excellent instinct for contemporary variety productions. As one of the most versatile artists in the world, he knows exactly what is going on on stage and what is not.

He brings things together on stage like a painter brings together a picture: the artistry, the dance, the acting. Pierre tells stories where others offer numbers, shows faces where others hide behind masks.

“First and foremost, directing needs courage. Every day in the theater, every rehearsal, requires courage.

For me this is all the more true as I work very intuitively. The power, the energy with which I create the spectacle can only come from determination and a certain spontaneity. Too much thought, too much calculation is harmful.

But I am also a “doer”; I don't wait for the muse to kiss me. There is probably no other way as a director with responsibility for a large company. If 20 protagonists look at me during a rehearsal, I can't sit in a corner because I don't feel inspired right now. Then the first thing you do is work soberly and dryly, and sometimes this creates a spark that spreads to the whole group.

I operate things on stage together like a painter a picture: the artistry, the dance, the acting. If I am cautious or cautious, you can tell in my pictures: Then there is no tension. I achieve the best results in the state of flow: Then I am courageous and sensitive, spontaneous and precise, highly concentrated and completely removed at the same time. That's just wonderful, very lucky.

Often the best ideas come to mind when I'm not looking for them.

Some fate is not a lucky star. Some of them survive - they are called PIOniers. "
